This year, India has assumed the BRICS chairmanship, preparing to host the 18th BRICS Summit, a key platform for economic and geopolitical engagement among Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa, along with newer members. Domestically, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been actively engaged across states and national events, including Republic Day preparations, with a continued policy focus on demographic trends, employment generation, and social services, given warnings that the country’s demographic dividend window is gradually narrowing.
